The beach was great. I enjoyed it - the sun, the sand, the waves. I love the constant sound of the waves hitting the shoreline, and the feeling of the gentle breeze on my face.
There's something about looking out over an ocean blue and just knowing God is sovereign and has everything in the palm of His hands. It reminds me of the depth and width of His love and faithfulness for me. Like the song by Jami Smith: "Your love is deep, your love is wide, your love is long, your love is high." Like the song by Jared Anderson: "Lord, I'm amazed by you, by how you love me." And it seems that when troubles hit us we loose perspective and can't see. Yet, God knows, and sees the big picture, and has it all worked out. I'm amazed by Him! He himself is the answer. What other answer - but his face - would suffice?
