This week has been pretty good. Life is going slower now that my Spanish class is done and my summer is winding to a halt.
I've begun experimenting with no-sugar baking. I'm using Stevia, a sweetener made from a type of an herb. This week I baked banana nut bread and oatmeal raisin cookies. They were also wheat free, because my brother is allergic to wheat. I think they came out pretty good.
Next week on Tuesday I have my drivers license test. Say a prayer for me!
And I'll be back at PHC in 14 days. Wow!

Hi, Rachel, I found your blog through a common intrest in Third Day. My sister-in-law is starting PHC this fall, she has friends that teach there I believe, the Butterfields? Anyway, you don't happen to post at The RI do you, you seem familiar...
Hi Leah! (Wow, the world wide web is a smaller place than I thought!).
I do post at the RI, under the screen name RachelP. I believe I know who you are. Refresh my memory with your screen name, please.
The Butterfields are a family who pastor a small Presbyterian church in the area. I'm not sure if you were referring to them. I actually went to their church for about a month.
Could you possibly tell me your sister-in-law's name? I would love to greet her when I get back next Friday, and would love to make the connection between her and you (there are 100 new freshmen, so I may never make the connection without your help!).
God bless!
Rachel
